Applications for the KY Foundation student members 2026 are open now!
The highest decision-making power in KY Foundation is mainly held by its board, which is in charge of overseeing the foundation’s operations and representing the organization.
The KY Foundation student member is a position of responsibility with a two-year term. The Chair of the KY Foundation Board is a paid, part-time position of trust with a one-year term (1.1.2026–31.12.2026). Excellent communication skills in Finnish are required for all positions. All applications must be submitted in at least English.

9.12.2025 at 17:00 Panel for candidates applying for the Chair of the Board and Student members of the KY Foundation Board. Straight after the panel, they are chosen in the KY Representative Council meeting.

All materials must be in English and they will be sent to the KY Representative Council. Introductions and pictures will be published on this page.
Applicants have the possibility to show their interest in the position until the beginning of the panel discussion. However, we wish that applicants would comply with the indicative deadline. After the application period has ended, you will receive materials in your inbox that help you prepare for the panel discussion held on Tuesday 9.12.2025 at 17:00 (at T004).
