Election to KY’s Representative Council Chair and Vice Chair 2024

We are looking for a Chair and Vice Chair for the next year, and the applications are now open!
The Representative Council (edustajisto or “edari” in Finnish) is the highest decision-making body of KY. Essentially its purpose is to make sure that KY is acting in the best interest of its members.
The Representative Council decides on all major issues of the association, therefore determining what KY is, what it stands for and what KY actually does today and in the years to come. The Council operates at the very heart of KY, which makes it a great viewpoint to what’s happening in our community. The council will decide on strategy, action plan, and the budget as well as e.g. planning our future premises and updating regulations of KY.
KY’s Representative Council Chair and Vice Chair are positions of responsibility from 1.1.2024–31.12.2024. Excellent communication skills in Finnish and in English are required from the Chair but not from the Vice Chair. The Chair and the Vice Chair of the Representative Council will be chosen by KY’s Representative Council.

26.11.2023 at 21:00 Deadline to apply for the Chair and Vice Chair.
29.11.2023 at 17:00 Panel for candidates applying for the Chair or Vice Chair. Right after the panel, the Chair and the Vice Chair will be elected.
