Corporate Relations Coordinator

Aalto University Business Students (KY) is looking for a Corporate Relations Coordinator for 25.8.2025–4.9.2026

Aalto University Business Students (KY) is a student-centered non-profit organization that provides its members with services and benefits, student advocacy, and memorable experiences. KY has approximately 5,100 members who study at the Aalto University School of Business. 

We are looking for a Corporate Relations Coordinator to join us 25.8.2025–4.9.2026. After this period, you have the possibility of continuing to work with us.

The corporate relations coordinator is the link between KY and its partners, and is responsible for the quality and continuity of corporate relations with their own brilliant work. Thus, the corporate relations coordinator plays a key role in financing KY's operations and supporting the career goals of the members.

The responsibilities of the Corporate Relations Coordinator include:

  • Maintenance and development of KY's existing corporate relations (e.g. via e-mail and face-to-face) as a working partner of the Board's corporate relations officer
  • Development of the general operations of the corporate relations sector together with the board member responsible for corporate relations
  • Mapping out and contacting new partners
  • Negotiation and implementation of the contents of contracts
  • Participation in various projects related to corporate relations and their coordination (e.g. overalls project)
  • Supporting and training KY volunteers in corporate relations matters
  • Management of assigned budget entities
  • Communicating with KY’s volunteers who are involved in corporate projects within their association or committee

In addition to this, the work includes a wide range of other responsibilities that develop the skills of the coordinator in areas such as financial management, leadership, and training.

We require from the applicant:

  • Proficient Finnish and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Interest in KY, corporate relations, and sales work
  • Initiative-taking, organized working methods, and the ability to work as a part of a team but also independently
  • Good cooperation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to act in customer service and manage long-term communication with external stakeholders
  • Positive attitude and reliability

Business relations and sales skills are easy to learn, so previous experience is not a limiting factor in the selection process, but can be seen as an advantage. The most important factors are self-confidence, an open-minded attitude, the ability to bear responsibility, learning new things, and the desire to develop oneself and KY.

We provide flexibility and freedom in regards to organizing one’s work. KY’s Executive Director is the foreperson of all KY employees.

The position of the Corporate Relations Coordinator is 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The general office hours are between 10-16, but flexible starting and ending times are possible and sometimes required. The work is suitable for combining with studies. The salary is 1335 euros per month. It is possible to negotiate a performance-based bonus in the employment contract. Invitations to interviews are sent out within two weeks after the application period ends. Interviews may include preliminary tasks to help us assess applicants’ skill levels. The final recruitment decision will be made by latest on Friday 9.5.2025.
