Hi! My name is Markus Räsänen, a second-year Economics student, and I’m excited to run for KY’s Representative Council. I want to make sure business students’ voices are heard when it comes to strategy, rules, and the budget that shapes our community.
I’ve served on the board of KY Politics and been an active member of NESU-KY, which has given me great insight into how our student life can keep growing and improving. My key themes are community, well-being, and making everyday student life smoother and more enjoyable.
Outside of studies and KY, you’ll often find me running to clear my head. I believe that the same persistence and energy I put into running can be used to represent you and bring positive change to KY. Vote for me, and let’s build a stronger KY together!
