Autumn Hike

Talk about reconnecting with nature! This year's LiHy’s Autumn Hike crosses two countries, starting in Beisfjord, Norway and finishing in Abisko, Sweden. 🏔️ The 80km route takes you through some of the most stunning scenery in northern Europe, perfectly in the beginning of ruska season. Think breathtaking fell landscapes and autumn colours doing their absolute best. And to enjoy all of this with the best company?! Ahhh, we CAN’T wait!! No prior hiking experience needed! If you have average fitness and eagerness for an adventure, you're good to go. So pack your backpacks and join us on this unforgettable adventure <3 PLAN FOR THE TRIP FRI 4.9. afternoon: the bus departs from Otaniemi SAT 5.9. morning: the bus arrives to Beisfjord, Norway SAT 5.9. - WED 9.9. Hiking from Beisfjord to Abisko, Sweden WED 9.9. afternoon the bus departs from Abisko we stop at a spa on the way back to Otaniemi :) THU 10.9. morning the bus arrives to Otaniemi TICKETS The ticket sale starts on Monday 18.5. at 12 on Kide.app, and the price is 220€ The ticket includes round-trip bus transportation, guides and food for the hike, a spa stop after the hike, and an overall badge. One person is allowed to purchase a maximum of two tickets. Payment is divided into two parts, which are both 110€. The first part is paid during registration and the other part around July. (the exact timing of the second payment will be informed later to all participants) Please note that reselling the ticket by yourself is not allowed. In case you bought a ticket but can’t make the hike, please contact our main event responsible Oula Karinen by 28.8. (one week before the hike). We will first try to resell your ticket to someone on the waitlist. If there is no one in the queue, we will offer you a partial refund instead. GOOD TO KNOW Note that each participant is responsible for their own equipment, such as suitable clothing, hiking shoes, backpacks, tents, trangias, etc. We strongly recommend you to ask your family and friends first if they have equipment to lend! There are also plenty of opportunities to renting the equipment. **Detailed information, such as a packing list and itinerary, will be provided to the participants closer to the hike.
