KY's 115th Annual Ball

Dear KY,
You are warmly welcomed to celebrate Aalto University Business Students’ 115th Annual Ball on Saturday, February 28th, 2026. This year the glamorous Royal Opera -themed celebration is held at the stunning and historic Ravintola Töölö, which formerly served as the main building of the Business School.

The festivities begin at 17:00 with a toast, from which we’ll continue to an exquisite three-course dinner starting at 18:00. The evening follows KY’s academic traditions with inspiring and entertaining speeches, performances, and awards. Following the dinner, the dance floor opens as the beloved Boston Promenade takes the stage, and the ball can begin!

Luckily, the celebrations don’t quite end there. The evening continues with the legendary afterparty hosted by KY’s Cultural Subcommittee KUJ. An arranged bus transportation will take all the guests to the afterparty venue, where you can continue to party well into the early hours of the morning.

Get ready for an evening full of celebration, good company, and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to experience KY’s 115th anniversary with you!

Note that tickets can't be sent forward on Kide.app. If you wish to sell your ticket to someone in the queue, please send an email to the Culture Producer, Julius Hannula (julius.hannula@ky.fi).

There will be a limited amount of Annual Ball + SILLIS??!?! combo tickets available. Please note that only KY members can buy tickets (the membership will be verified afterwards). However, a KY member can buy a ticket for their avec even if the avec is not a KY member or a student.

Want to meet new faces at the Annual Ball? We’ve got you covered! It is possible to choose a seating preference in which you (or you and a friend) are seated next to others who’d like to make new friends at the celebrations.

The event is held in Finnish but instructions and most speeches will be translated, so international guests are also warmly welcomed!
