What a year 2025 has been! As the year draws to a close, we take a moment to reflect — and what a journey it has been. Time has once again flown by, filled with moments that have strengthened our community and the KY spirit.
This year, we also celebrated an important milestone: KY has now been part of Otaniemi for 10 years! It has been incredible to see how our community has grown stronger over the years and how the KY spirit has truly found its home at the heart of Aalto.
2025 has also been a year of major developments. KY acquired a building in Otaniemi — a bold and forward-looking step that will shape the future of our community for generations to come. We are thrilled about the opportunities this brings and the new chapter it opens for student life in Otaniemi.
This year was also an election year. In both KY’s and AYY’s Representative Council elections, a record number of business students stood as candidates — a fantastic demonstration of KY members’ engagement and influence within the wider student community.
In addition, we have embarked on renewing KY’s strategy — a process that allows us to reflect on who we are, where we want to go, and how we can continue to serve our members, alumni, and the broader Aalto community even better.
Throughout 2025, we have shared countless memorable moments together. As we look ahead, we can’t wait to create even more memories with you in the coming year. Thank you for being part of this journey and for your continued support of KY and our community.
