Never in a million years did I imagine what this year would be like when I first applied for
the KY Board. With just a little push from a friend during III-kierros afterafterparty, I decided
to give it a shot and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever.
This year has been full of laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments. The best
memories are definitely the ones shared with my amazing fellow board members, from the
Nordic Forum in Bergen to all the annual balls we attended, and of course, just the daily
life in Espilä. I’ll never forget the random late-night talks, inside jokes, and all the people
who made this year so special.
As an association responsible, I am proud of all our associations for organizing amazing
events, having constructive discussions with us and keeping up the KY spirit all year. It’s
been inspiring to see so much dedication and passion throughout the year.
And I can’t forget my dear Master’s Committee. The energy, the ideas, the support, I
couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with. Together we created so many fun
memories: I will never forget the first sitz party we organized (especially the cleaning
afterwards…), and hopefully made a positive impact for our master’s students, too.
Looking back now, I just feel incredibly grateful. Thank you to everyone who was part of it,
you made it unforgettable.
