The Association for Business Students at Aalto University warmly welcomes you to our great community of over 5000 business students and to Otaniemi, the heart of Finnish student culture!
At KY, we stand for a legacy that spans more than a century. Since 1911, business students from HKKK, now Aalto University School of Business, have been shaping student life by advocating for their peers, creating exceptional events and building a vibrant culture that’s felt across campus. As a former student union, we’ve always taken responsibility for our members, and that spirit is still strong today.
Now, as part of the Aalto community, we’re actively involved in Otaniemi and work closely with other student organizations, guilds, and of course, our amazing student union AYY. Next year, our standing in Otaniemi solidifies even further as we prepare our move into the new and incredible KY-Building, a place that all of us can soon call home.
We invite you to dive into the upcoming autumn with an open mind and discover everything Aalto, AYY, and KY have to offer. Whether your interests lie in corporate
events, entrepreneurship, student advocacy, sports, or other academic activities, you’re surely going to find your place here. And if not, starting something of your own is easier than you think.
KY is here to support you; in your studies, wellbeing, and your journey to find your place in this unique and welcoming community. We can’t wait to see you during the orientation week, hoping our Masters’ Committee and many other associated actors can offer you an unforgettable kick-off to your studies here.
