To ensure the smooth start for your studies, we have gathered a lots of information and contacts to guide you through your studies in Finland.

tion to tutors and School of Business' contact persons, KY Office is happy to assist you in possible questions regarding KY and student life, that may emerge. Feel free to visit in KY Office aka Espilä at Konemiehentie 4, 02150 Espoo! The best way to reach us is during service hours (on Tuesdays, from 15-17 and on Thursdays, from 12-14) by arriving to KY Member Services room close to the main entrance of Espilä. For further specific questions, please see the Contact Info page.

Tutors will contact the new students in their tutor group before the orientation week, instruct how the orientation week is going to progress and ensure that every mursu has other essential information before the "o-week" starts. In addition to this, international tutors assist in tasks such as airport pick-up and picking keys to student apartments. Your tutor should inform you about these practicalities before the orientation week and arrival.

Tutoring for new students is organized by KY's Tutor Committee in cooperation with the Aalto University and KY's Tutor Committee is led by the Tutor Coordinator (KY Office Contact Info).

3. VOLUNTEERING & STUDENT LIFE

An easy way to get to know the community!

KY has long history in developing, maintaining and fostering our rich student culture. Different kinds of events and projects are thereby an inseparable part of KY community activities. To get to know different volunteering activities, it's recommendable to check the Committees and Associates page. You may also scroll the updating event calendar on the front page to familiarise yourself with versatile events of KY or check KY Events channel on Facebook or Telegram!

Many subject associations also offer things to do for international students, and they have plenty of international students among their members. Whether you are an exchange student, international degree student, or Finnish all the way, you can meet people from all over the world in the international associations. These include for example KY International Subcommittee (KY-SUB), which is a student-driven organisation for international business students, mainly focusing on exchange students, AIESEC Aalto, Aalto Community of African Students and much, much more!

4. WELLBEING

KY aims to provide the best student experience around and our actions are measured by the wellbeing and success of all our members. Our goal is that everyone feels welcomed in our community and that our students can thrive without having to worry about concerns regarding student life.

However, sometimes student life can also include struggles, whether it is with managing your time and energy in the middle of all the responsibilities, facing mental or physical health issues, finding your group of friends or something else.

Wellbeing-related information, support and contact information of our BeWell Wellbeing Tutors have been gathered to the Wellbeing page. We warmly recommend a visit there!
